ICC SDK Android Overview

What is the ICC (In Car Commerce) SDK?

ICC SDK is the Telenav's SDK for In Car Commerce.

The ICC SDK from Telenav provides you with a framework that enables access to specific commerce components: food, parking and payment.

This framework is designed to offer your end-users a complete commerce experience.

This experience is achieved by providing a set of pre-built SDK which you can use as building blocks for your apps. Based on your needs, you can customize these blocks in terms of UI and features. The platform’s components are designed to communicate and work together, but also independently to offer your app exactly the desired features.

What can you take from the ICC SDK and how can you use it?

The ICC SDK is a modular framework, enabling you to take only the components in which you are interested.

Since the framework is modular, you can take and use its modules independently. This means you can have independent development teams working in parallel on different modules/features, optimizing your development efforts and your go to market plans.

In addition, you can also add your own components on top of and alongside the ICC SDK ones.

Food component

The Food component enables developers to integrate a food ordering flow into their app. For that purpose, the SDK provides components that allow you to:
-find the available partner restaurants
-find the food stores of a wanted brand in a certain area
-find the food stores of a wanted brand in a certain area with a specified route
-view all the food order reservations history of a certain user. Learn more.

Parking component

The Parking component enables developers to integrate a parking reservation flow into their app. In order to be able to use the parking feature, developers have to integrate also the payment module. For that purpose, the SDK provides components that allow you to:
-request price for a parking place in a given time interval
-reserve a chosen parking place
-view their last parking reservation details
-view all the parking reservations history of a certain user
-cancel an active parking reservation. Learn more.

Payment component

The Payment component enables developers to integrate a payment flow (for parking feature) into their app. For that purpose, the SDK provides components that allow you to:
-add a credit card
-delete a saved credit card
-get information about the wallet of a certain user
-get information about a credit card and pay for a parking reservation. Learn more.
